When You Need Removal

Pool Fence Removal & Reinstallation Services

We handle pool fence removal for every situation — temporary or permanent.

Pool or Deck Renovation

Resurfacing your pool, redoing your deck, or adding pavers? We remove your fence before the work starts and reinstall it when the deck is cured and ready. Most reinstallations use the original sleeve anchors — no new drilling required.

Party or Special Event

Hosting a graduation party, wedding reception, or family gathering? We temporarily remove your fence, store it safely, and reinstall it after your event. Available for any brand of removable mesh fence.

Switching Fence Brands or Styles

Upgrading from an old fence to a new one, or switching from permanent fencing to removable mesh? We remove the old fence, install new sleeve anchors if needed, and put up your new fence in one visit.

Moving or Selling Your Home

Need to take your removable fence with you when you move? Or does the buyer want the fence removed? We handle the removal cleanly, pull sleeve anchors, and patch deck holes if requested.

HOA or Inspection Compliance

Some HOAs require fence removal between seasons or after pool safety inspections. We remove the fence on your timeline and reinstall it before city inspection deadlines.

Seasonal or Temporary Storage

Planning to be away from the property for an extended period? We can remove and store your fence safely. When you return, reinstallation goes back into the same sleeve anchors — usually in under an hour.

Important

Arizona Law Requires a Barrier at All Times

Even during temporary removal, your pool must remain protected.

Under ARS § 36-1681, Arizona law requires a compliant pool barrier at all times — including when your fence is temporarily removed for an event or renovation. Your pool area must remain inaccessible to children during any removal period. Michael can advise on compliant temporary arrangements for your specific situation. The law applies regardless of whether your children are home.

Common Questions

Pool Fence Removal FAQ

Answers to what Phoenix homeowners ask most about fence removal.

How much does pool fence removal cost in Phoenix?

Pool fence removal pricing depends on the perimeter size and whether the job includes storage, reinstallation, or both. Call or text Michael at (602) 698-7733 for a quick quote — most removal jobs are straightforward and can be quoted in a short phone conversation.

Can you remove a pool fence that Clear Choice did not install?

Yes. We remove any brand of removable mesh pool fence in Maricopa County — All Safe Pool Fence, Pool Guard, Life Saver, Protect-A-Child, and others that use standard 1-inch sleeve anchors. If you are unsure whether your fence uses standard anchors, call us and describe it.

How long does pool fence removal take?

Most removable mesh pool fence removals take 30 minutes to 1 hour. Reinstallation takes roughly the same time. We schedule removal and reinstallation as separate visits or same-day depending on your project timeline.

Is my pool legally required to be fenced while the fence is removed?

Yes. Under Arizona law (ARS § 36-1681), your pool must remain behind a compliant barrier at all times. If your fence is temporarily removed for renovation or an event, a temporary barrier must be in place — or the pool area must be inaccessible to children. We can advise on compliant temporary arrangements. The law has no exception for short-term removals.

Do you store the fence after removal?

We do not offer long-term off-site storage, but we can remove the fence and leave it folded neatly on your property for you to store in a garage or shed. For renovation projects, we typically remove the fence, leave it with you, and return to reinstall it when the deck work is complete.

Can the sleeve anchors be reused after removal?

Yes — sleeve anchors are designed for repeated pole removal and reinstallation. The same anchors drilled at original installation will accept the poles again after temporary removal. Anchors only need replacement if they are damaged, loose, or the deck has been resurfaced over them.
