Pricing Breakdown
What Affects the Final Price
Four variables determine your total. Everything else — pool shape, number of fence sections, distance from the house — is included in the per-foot rate.
Pool perimeter size
The biggest cost driver. Larger perimeters get a lower per-foot rate. Most Phoenix-area pools run 80–140 linear feet.
Fence height (4ft vs 5ft)
4ft meets Arizona code and is the most common choice. Upgrading to 5ft adds $2/ft — ideal for homes with large dogs or older children.
Number of gates
Each 4ft gate is $475; each 5ft gate is $525. Most installs have 1 gate. Add a second if you need access from both sides of the yard.
Deck surface type
We drill into concrete, pavers, stone, tile, wood decking, and most composite materials at no extra charge. Unusual surfaces are discussed before any work begins.

Pool Fence Cost Comparison — Arizona
Removable Mesh vs. Permanent Fencing
Pool fencing comes in three main types. Here's how they compare on cost and practical trade-offs for Arizona homeowners.
Removable Mesh (Clear Choice)
$20 – $28 / ft
Removable when not in use, code-compliant, lifetime hardware warranty, lowest upfront cost
Permanent Aluminum
$30 – $50 / ft
Durable, low maintenance, adds to property aesthetics
Glass / Frameless
$150 – $300 / ft
Premium look, unobstructed views, durable tempered glass
Permanent aluminum and glass fence ranges are market estimates for the Phoenix metro area and will vary by contractor. Clear Choice installs removable mesh fencing only.
Quality You Can Verify
Why This Pricing Is Fair
Clear Choice has been installing pool fences in Maricopa County since 1994. Every job is reviewed by Michael — ensuring consistent quality on every install.
The materials are commercial-grade. The mesh is UV-resistant black polypropylene. The poles and sleeves are stainless steel. The gates use MagnaLatch hardware — the gold standard for pool gate latching. All of this is covered by a lifetime warranty. If a pole or sleeve fails, we replace it at no charge.
The per-foot rate includes everything: the site visit, drilling and anchoring the sleeves, installing the fence, adjusting the gate tension, and the final walkthrough. There are no mobilization fees, haul-away fees, or "complexity" surcharges.
We hold Arizona Registrar of Contractors license AZROC 317289 and carry full liability insurance. Every installation meets Arizona's residential pool barrier code (R4501.17) and local Maricopa County requirements.

You Pay Only on Completion
This is how Clear Choice pool fence pricing works — and why it's different from every other contractor.
Most home service companies require a deposit to book. We don't. Your appointment is confirmed on our word, not your credit card. This keeps us accountable to showing up on time and completing the job correctly.
The estimate you receive is the price you pay. We don't add fees for unusual pool shapes, tight spaces, or extra setup time. If something comes up on installation day that changes the scope, Michael discusses it with you before proceeding — never after.
We accept check and major credit cards. Payment is collected after the final walkthrough, once you've confirmed the installation meets your expectations.
